Argument Soul - Australian Tour 2005
Metal Warriors Metalfest - Live at The Espy - May 7th

Most Melbourne metalheads have been to at least one Metal Warriors Metalfest, and most of those wait patiently for the next to arrive. When I heard another one was being organised to coincide with a Japanese band's tour, I jumped at the chance to help get some more great acts onto the bill.

Now, you could be forgiven for not being familiar with the name "Argument Soul", as their success is currently limited to their homeland. This didn't stop local metalheads from turning out in force, however. A few people had heard a track or two off "Reviving The Truth" on Screaming Symphony, but most came just to show support and have a good time. From the way the crowd went off, I doubt anyone was disappointed!

The usual diversity of Metalfests was there, with bands ranging from operatic Progressive Metal to Melodic Death. It was also the debut gig of Long Since Dark, featuring members of Enter Twilight and Teargas.
